Laboratory Technician
The Johnson Laboratory is engaged in development of experimental ophthalmic surgical procedures in preclinical models. We are seeking a highly experienced Laboratory Technician with direct prior experience in the conduct and assistance with vitreoretinal surgery to help with experimental ophthalmic surgeries in rhesus macaques (non-human primates). The role will involve planning for surgical procedures in conjunction with the ophthalmic surgeons (approximately 4-6 hours per surgery) and serving as surgical technician for vitreoretinal surgeries (approximately 6 hours per surgery including preparation, procedure, and clean-up).
