Molecular Diagnostics Technologist
The Pathology Department is seeking a Molecular Diagnostics Technologist that under the general supervision of the laboratory manager, performs a variety of both routine and complex clinical laboratory tests in accordance with established standards and procedures. The primary duties and responsibilities of the job: Separation of human blood cells; isolation of DNA/RNA from human tissues; nucleic acid biochemistry; PCR based testing and sequencing methods. Independent responsibility for accomplishing routines will be assumed after proficiency has been acquired. Abilities will include an accurate recording of lab observations both written and oral.
