Position Details:
Loyola University Maryland is seeking at Systems Engineer I to join the Infrastructure department. This position will will ensure continued stable operation and improvement of Loyola-provided technology services. Responsible for device and endpoint configuration management, analyzing and resolving end user and system issues in a timely and accurate fashion, and assisting with administration of specialized computing environments. Implement and administer enterprise quality systems in order to meet the broad needs of the organization in the present and future.
Job duties include:
Device and Endpoint Configuration Management
Create operating system images for both Windows and macOS for deployment to managed endpoints
Create and deliver applications using configuration management tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Jamf Pro
Deploy operating system and application patches to managed endpoints
Implement security and configuration policies using tools such as mobile device management (MDM) and group policy
Tickets & operations
Analyze and resolve user and system issues in a timely and accurate manner
Resolve assigned tickets in Loyola's IT service management tool
Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations and standard operating procedures
Assist with administration of specialized computing environments, including:
HIPAA compliant environments, including the Loyola Clinical Centers and the Counseling Center
Secure financial environments, including point-of-sale systems
Digital signage
