The Boys’ Latin School of Maryland, an independent K-12 day and boarding school for boys, seeks an experienced and dynamic leader to serve as director of enrollment management.  Reporting to the Headmaster, the director serves as the chief enrollment management officer and is responsible for providing strategic leadership for all facets of K – 12 enrollment management, including recruitment, admissions, financial aid, and retention.

The director of enrollment management will oversee all admissions activities including the establishment and implementation of all recruitment strategies; the identification, cultivation, assessment, admission, and enrollment of prospective students and families; and act as a liaison for the School and the community.  The director of enrollment management serves on the School’s administrative leadership team, works directly with the Board of Trustees, and is responsible for the management of the admissions office, as well as coordinating with other school departments, such as development, finance, and marketing and communications.

Boys’ Latin seeks a proven leader, with established expertise, excellent communication skills, and an ability to garner support for the School from a wide range of constituencies. Successful candidates will have significant experience in admissions and enrollment management as well as demonstrated leadership in a strategic role.  Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven track record of successful enrollment management, including direct experience in admissions.
• Familiarity with BlackBaud or similar database systems.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, including a high level of attention to detail.
