The Director of Admissions serves Mount de Sales Academy's year-round admissions endeavors, including recruitment, events, application process, and office duties. The Director of Admissions oversees the admissions process for incoming freshmen, including screening of applicants, interviews, and the selection of new students. This is a full-time staff position. Duties and Responsibilities

Direct strategies to achieve departmental goals and of those of Mount de Sales Academy in general.
Serve as a liaison to the Archdiocese of Baltimore.
Build and maintain relationships with area elementary and middle schools.
Oversee the application process.
Lead Admissions Committee meetings.
Head the preparation of Admissions materials for marketing.
Host shadow days and tours.
Attend high school fairs.
9. Oversee Constant Contact communications, website updates, and social media posting.
10. Coordinate faculty, staff and facility requirement for interviews.
11. Develop strategies, coordinate speakers, create agendas, and attend Open House, Morning at Mount de Sales, HSPT, and uniform measurement day.
12. Create agenda and coordinate adult volunteers for Accepted Students Night.
13. Respond to daily phone calls and emails.
14. Oversee the application process for international students and completion of I-20 forms.
Commitment to the mission and vision of Catholic education in general and Mount de Sales Academy in particular.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to interface with parents, students, fellow teachers, professionals from other schools, and the general public.
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, with the willingness to learn Admissions Plus, Administrator’s Plus, MS Scheduler. Email marketing services and Adobe creation skills are preferred.
Ability to coordinate, prioritize and analyze several ongoing projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities may require working evenings and weekends as necessary.
Bachelor’s degree or academic/professional equivalent
Experience in admissions or related field
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
