Johns Hopkins University is seeking the ideal candidate for the position of Investment Performance & Reporting Analyst within its Investment Office, reporting directly to the Associate Director – Investment Operations. The Investment Office is responsible for investing the endowments for the university, Johns Hopkins Hospital, and related endowed entities totaling more than $5 billion, among many other assets.
This individual will play an integral role on the Investment Operations team responsible for day-to-day execution of investment operations tasks supporting the overall efforts of the investment office. This individual will focus on the execution of core business processes related to the following general areas of responsibility: performance & portfolio reporting; monthly closing process; portfolio reporting and analysis; research and resolution of data quality issues; and other projects as assigned.
The Performance & Reporting Analyst will also be expected to:
Develop and monitor data quality dashboards to ensure cross-system data flow and consistency
Aggregate and synthesize data in support of Risk and Markets and Investment team analysis needs
Serve as back-up for the Investment Operations Analyst responsibilities
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in accounting, finance or related quantitatively-oriented field with proven academic excellence
Minimum of 1-3 years’ work experience preferably in investment operations and performance reporting
Public accounting experience, custodian bank or prime broker operations experience preferred
CPA or CFA preferred
Experience with SQL and/or Python a plus
