Loyola University Maryland is seeking a Program Assistant to support to the Office of Student Life and the Office of Student Conduct. This position provides a variety of administrative support to all professional staff members in these offices.
The Program Assistant greets visitors and provides customer services for students, parents, faculty, staff and other University constituents visiting, calling, or emailing the Student Life central office. They will answer telephones, screen calls, respond to emails and refer visitors and callers to appropriate staff when necessary. The Program Assistant provides administrative assistance related to the residential programming aims of the office including but not limited to: managing reservations for transportation, space, and equipment; assisting in marketing and program communications; and assisting in the entry and analysis of program data. Oversee scheduling and calendaring of Student Life central office staff (Director, 3 Associate Directors, and 1 Assistant Director). Assist with development and revision of forms, letters, publications, and website content to enhance office operations. Maintain and monitor budget entries and process budget transfers. Supervise, train, and evaluate 10-15 undergraduate office assistants. Manage employee payroll for all Office Assistants. Assist the department in processing student room changes, early arrivals, contract extensions, and summer housing. Serve as Data Entry Specialist utilizing systems such as Datatel Colleague, SharePoint, and StarRez. Provide oversight for damage and incident billing.
Associate degree and 3 to 5 years of related work experience required. Must have the ability to positively interact with students and provide professional customer service. Bachelor's degree and higher education experience preferred.
This is a full-time position with benefits and works Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5pm.
