The Administrative Coordinator will provide administrative support to the R3 program, the R3ISE Center and its Director. The Administrative Coordinator will coordinate activities and communications between the Director, faculty and students as well as advisory board members and stakeholders. The successful candidate will help facilitate the organization of the Center.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Scheduling / calendar organization for the R3ISE Director
Organizational and data entry tasks such as travel preparation and reimbursements; preparation of and assistance with material transfer agreements
Follow through with R3ISE personnel and collaborators on agreed-on tasks
Stakeholder maintenance and correspondence / communication
R3ISE Center related organizational coordination
Correspondence with R3 instructors and advisory board members
Proofreading of various text drafts and presentation slides
Collaboration with Marketing and Communications Manager on newsletter and course ads
Course correspondence, coordination and organization with students and teaching assistants
Assistance with surveys
Assistance with Welsh symposium and other special event organization and logistics
Meeting scheduling, preparation and logistics
Assistance with secretarial tasks in the course of the Welsh Scholar selection (records, organization of interviews, follow up)
Other duties as assigned
High school diploma/GED required.
Three (3) years related administrative/office experience required.
Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience. For jobs where equivalency is permitted, up to two years of non-related college course work may be applied towards the total minimum education/experience required for the respective job. *
Bachelor's degree preferred.
