Program Coordinator - Student Outreach and Prevention - (1900005K)
The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) Student Counseling Center (SCC) has an opportunity for a Program Coordinator to provide a broad range of outreach, prevention, and administrative support in an efficient, professional and confidential manner. The Outreach & Prevention Program Coordinator assists a multidisciplinary team in maximizing professional graduate students' ability to reach their potential for personal and academic success.
The selected candidate will exhibit a commitment to implementing interventions that promote a healthy campus environment and meet the mental health needs of the University community. The Program Coordinator will collaborate with various campus departments and student organizations; coordinate activities; oversee data collection and provide administrative support as needed.
*Evening hours required as needed.

Creates, coordinates and delivers educational outreach and prevention programs on mental health.
Assists in conducting and analyzing the SCC annual student satisfaction survey; prepares periodic reports, manages data collection, and keeps records on program activities, progress, status or other special reports for management.
Initiates a comprehensive educational and prevention outreach program utilizing various marketing strategies to reach all students.
Leads coordination with student organizations in hosting prevention presentations and programs; collaborates with faculty, staff and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives. Builds and maintains strong relationships with community members and partners in order to grow the programming.
Schedules, markets, and promotes outreach presentations and events of the by independently developing promotional marketing materials and event plans.
Utilizes computer technology to support the Counseling Center functions and assists in maintenance of the SCC's website.
May provide administrative coverage of the SCC as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's degree in related field such as Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences, or Public Health.
Experience: One (1) year administrative/coordinator program experience.
Other: Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
