The Assistant Director Student Success & Patron Engagement will conduct all student employee recruitment, hiring, and training for the FAC and Recreational Sports department. Facilitate student employee development through training programs. Oversee all marketing efforts for the department, including development of marketing materials, serving as the social media point person and oversight of the department website. Manage daily facility operations related to the Welcome Desk and Membership Services (communication, membership sales, guest fees, program registration). Supervise student employees in positions of Member Services representatives, Operations Assistants, and Marketing Assistants. This position will develop, manage and implement department wide student employee hiring program to include marketing, outreach, application process, and on-boarding. Hire, train, schedule, supervise, evaluate and develop student employees, specifically Member Services Representatives, a Marketing Graduate Assistant and marketing student employees. Responsible for the creation and implementation of the year-long Real World student employee training program at the FAC, which are educational sessions focused on important life-skills topics essential for student success. Oversee the department in developing marketing strategies to students, faculty, staff, administrators, alumni and families. Coordinate all recreational sports department marketing materials and information, as well as a schedule of coverage by department student leaders and administrators for marketing at orientation and all admissions events. Additionally this position will direct the membership services area for the FAC, and work with the Director to meet membership goals. They will oversee and authorize Department decisions related to membership usage agreements, and represent the department in customer complaints, settling disputes and resolving grievances.
