The Park School is seeking a collaborative, outward-facing, detail-oriented Associate Director of Annual Giving to join our growing development team. This is a non-exempt position reporting to the Director of Annual Giving. The Associate Director of Annual Giving is responsible for two main areas of focus:
Supporting projects and programs led by the Director of Annual Giving, including the annual giving club, and
Leading Alumni giving initiatives in coordination with the Director of Alumni Relations, with an emphasis on recruiting Alumni volunteers to support giving efforts
The Associate Director of Annual Giving will work closely with all members of the Development team and the Alumni Council.
Manage and increase Alumni giving to the school’s Annual Fund
Solicit through phone, written and digital outreach
Assist in all aspects of supporting on and off campus events
Work collaboratively with Development team on cultivation and engagement efforts
Assist in reaching overall Annual Fund goals, with a focus on managing the alumni annual giving program
Develop a new Alumni Reunion giving program whereby every reunion year class has a specific outreach plan
Expand Alumni planned giving program
Other duties related to annual giving as required
A Bachelor’s degree
A minimum of two years of fundraising experience; experience with written and verbal solicitation preferred
Experience maintaining relationships with donors and volunteers
Ability to think strategically and analytically with marketing annual giving and/or alumni relations programs
Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
Excellent collaboration and follow-through skills across multiple departments
Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends, as required, for special events and meetings
Experience with Excel and list management; experience with Raiser’s Edge preferred
Knowledge of Park’s alumni community is a plus
