University of Maryland Baltimore is currently seeking a Senior Program Specialist to join the School of Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Health Services Research. The Pharmaceutical Health Services Research Department's PATIENTS Program is seeking a part-time Senior Advisor in clinical and community research to advise the Assistant Director of Engagement and the PATIENTS Program leadership team. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Senior Advisor is responsible for advising and implementing pars of the PATIENTS Program's engagement strategy for funded studies, community events, and outreach worker training.
**This is a PART-TIME (32 hrs/week), CONTRACTUAL position**
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Advise the Assistant Director of Engagement and the PATIENTS leadership team to design engagement plans for outreach and dissemination events
Collaborate with the PATIENTS leadership team to design data capture from patients and stakeholders
Develop a training manual for outreach workers and trainees involved in outreach activities
Oversee and assist with administrative functions such as development of policies and procedures for strategic outreach and data capture
Develop, in conjunction with PATIENTS leadership team, marketing and communications plans aimed to drive attendance and participation in each event
Assist with grant preparation and revie w
Education: Bachelor's degree in related field.
Experience: Three (3) years related administrative/program experience.*
Preferred Experience: One (1) year in work coordination, training, and daily oversight of staff, students, or volunteers preferred.
