St Vincent de Paul of Baltimore (SVDP) is seeking highly qualified candidates for the positions ofAssistant Director, Community Engagement. This position is a part of a growing Development and Marketing Team that reports directly to the Vice President of Development and Marketing. This position will be a part of a team that supports SVDP’s, fund development, marketing and communications, and community and corporate engagement and volunteerism.
The Assistant Director, Community Engagement is responsible for donor-related events, stewardship, corporate engagement and volunteer activities to strengthen the organizational support from donors, corporations and the community at large.
Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree, minimum of three years of fund development and event planning experience required. Computer proficiency including demonstrated competencies in Microsoft Suite. Experience working with donor databases required. Strong customer service, written and verbal communication skills, experience working with and managing volunteers and vendors.
